MASJID CRYSTAL
The Crystal Mosque or Masjid Kristal is a mosque in Kuala Terengganu. A
grand structure made of from crystal, glass and steel, which gives the mosque
its crystal-like appearance. The mosque is located so close of Islamic Heritage
Park in island of Wan Man. The mosque was constructed between 2006 until 2008.
It officially opened on 8 February 2008 by 13th Yang Di-Pertuan
Agong, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. It has the capacity to accommodate over
1,500 worshipers at a time. At night, the mosque comes alive with a mesmerizing
display of lights, which changes colour such as pink, blue and red.

TENGKU TENGAH ZAHARAH MOSQUE
The Tengku Tengah Zaharah mosque or the floating mosque is the first
real floating mosque in Malaysia. It is situated in Kuala Ibai Lagoon near the
estuary of Kuala Ibai river, 4 km from kuala Terengganu town. Construction
began in 1993 and finished in 1995. The mosque was officially opened in july
1995 by Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Almuktafi Billah Shah, the late Sultan of
Terengganu. The mosque combines modern and Moorish architecture and
incorporating the use of marble, ceramics, mosaic works and bomanite paving.
The white structure of the mosque convers an area of roughly 5 acres and can
accommodate up to 2000 attendees at a time. Every Friday, so many people from
nearby the mosque.
